With just 16 being produced, the Batur Convertible is the latest Coachbuilt creation from Mulliner’s studios. It brings together exhilarating W12 power, a completely open-air driving experience, and the most advanced Mulliner craftsmanship ever applied to a convertible.

The design retains the striking exterior lines of its hard-top sibling while introducing subtle adaptations, especially at the rear, where enhanced aerodynamics ensure stability and composure at speed. When the roof is open, a unique aviation-inspired “airbridge” design becomes visible, with two arch-shaped features positioned behind the driver and passenger that echo the precision of aerospace engineering.

The Bacalar marked Mulliner’s glorious return to coachbuilding after a generation and set the standard for every Coachbuilt creation that followed. With only 12 produced, it remains one of the rarest and most collectible modern Bentleys in existence.

Named after the stunning Laguna Bacalar in Mexico, this open-top grand tourer was the first car to emerge from the revived Mulliner Coachbuilt program. Every example was individually commissioned, with each client working directly with Mulliner’s design team to create a specification that reflected their personal vision. The Bacalar proved that the art of coachbuilding, once considered a lost tradition, was alive and thriving at Crewe.
