This coupe and spider duo is the first Prancing Horse GT equipped with Electric Power Steering, which integrates all electronic dynamic vehicle controls maximizing performance. The Ferrari Portofino now punches out 40 more horsepower over the California T. The all-new chassis features a significant 176 lb weight savings, while increasing torsional rigidity. With honed efficiency, this 8-cylinder adopts new pistons and con-rods, and a new intake system design. The new one-piece-cast exhaust header reduces losses, an important factor in ensuring Ferrari’s characteristic throttle response with zero turbo lag. The Ferrari Portofino offers even higher levels of acceleration in all gears and lower fuel consumption compared to the outgoing model, due to the Variable Boost Management which adjusts torque delivery to suit the gear selected.
