Ferrari Portofino: Open Up a New Horizon of Pure V8 Turbo Performance & Drop-Top Adventure

The Ferrari Portofino, named after a charming village on the Italian Riviera, defines stylish elegance. Portofino is the perfect combination of outright performance, versatility, unparalleled driving pleasure and comfort.

At the core of the Ferrari Portofino is the International Engine of the Year – 2 years running. The incredible Twin-Turbo V8 engine, produces 592 HP, rockets from 0-62 mph in only 3.5 seconds and unleashes a top speed of 199 mph. Ferrari Portofino is designed to delight, with generous space, 2 rear seats and luxurious comfort, making everyday driving and weekend getaways unforgettably enjoyable. Portofino transforms from coupe to spider in only 14 seconds, opening the sky and your mind to pure driving pleasure.  Portofino is sure to thrill your soul as you adventure through the Rocky Mountains to hit the slopes, rally over Independence Pass, or drop the top and head to a concert at Red Rocks in the summer.

The Ferrari Portofino is breathtakingly beautiful, while achieving exceptional aerodynamic efficiency. Portofino is aggressively-styled with a two-box fastback configuration, which is  unprecedented in a coupé-convertible with a retractable hard top. The result is extra sleekness in its silhouette, and an even a sportier character without taking from its elegance and dynamism. The contoured nose is underscored by the full-LED headlight assembly, which conceals an innovative air intake that vents into the front wheel arch and exits along the flank to reduce drag. The tail design underlines the car’s sporty stance which has been further enhanced by placing the tail lights further apart. This focus on aerodynamic efficiency is vital to both pure performance, and on keeping fuel consumption and emissions down. Ferrari Portofino is simply stunning in the all-new launch color Rosso Portofino.

This coupe and spider duo is the first Prancing Horse GT equipped with Electric Power Steering, which integrates all electronic dynamic vehicle controls maximizing performance. The Ferrari Portofino now punches out 40 more horsepower over the California T. The all-new chassis features a significant 176 lb weight savings, while increasing torsional rigidity. With honed efficiency, this 8-cylinder adopts new pistons and con-rods, and a new intake system design. The new one-piece-cast exhaust header reduces losses, an important factor in ensuring Ferrari’s characteristic throttle response with zero turbo lag. The Ferrari Portofino offers even higher levels of acceleration in all gears and lower fuel consumption compared to the outgoing model, due to the Variable Boost Management which adjusts torque delivery to suit the gear selected.

The sky is the limit. Prancing Horse comfort and craftsmanship are unmistakable, with every detail customizable to your own unique style.  The cockpit is ergonomically designed with opulent wraparound leather seats, F1 paddle shifters on the newly designed steering wheel, 10.2” touch sensitive infotainment system, 8-way electrically adjustable seats with a new backrest design that boosts legroom for rear seat passengers, and passenger displays. All occupants will particularly appreciate the new wind deflector which, when the top is dropped, cuts air flow inside the cabin by 30% and also reduces aerodynamic noise.
